In the last couple of weeks I have been really trying to figure out a way to make the most out of my writing career and out of Sunset Hills. I have truly enjoyed the art of writing and being able to do that with blogging has been so fulfilling. In my efforts to find a way to revamp this blog, my heart lead me in another direction.
I ignored it for weeks, but then I finally decided to go with my gut and start a new blog. Mind of a Diva is about my thoughts and growth as a woman in her twenties. I graduated from college, I'm trying to start my career, and I have struggles. It tells about the good times and the bad along with what is on my mind. I truly love writing this blog everyday and it was just what I was looking for.
So that doesn't mean that Sunset Hills will stop existing or that I will not update this page as much. It just means that I will be juggling both at the same time. Also, I would love it if you as readers of this blog would visit Mind of a Diva, www.mindofadiva.wordpress.com and join in the discussions. Read, comment, and subscribe to what I say on there.
Thank you for your continued support and love.

Loves in The Office
Seems as though there are going to be some new couples emerging on 'The Office' this season as Pam and Jim begin to take a back sit. However, let's not kid ourselves Pam and Jim will always be our favorite couple. So who will be the it couple this season? For the answer I made a list.
Andy and Erin recently became and item in the last few episodes after dancing around each other for the later part of last year. Why we love them: Both of them are fun loving, they are dorky, and they are cute together. What might keep them apart: Erin has a weird brother that seems to have the hots for her and Andy seems to be fragile when it comes to relationships.
A couple of episodes ago Dwight and Angela signed an agreement to have a child together, which seemed to be more of a business deal. Why we love them: they are weirdly right for each other, the both have the same goal of trying to take over the office, they have similar personalities. What might keep them apart: Angela has a history of cheating and Dwight seems to have a connection with Pam's friend from the wedding.
To be bias I'm rooting for Andy and Erin, they are so cute.

Kendra's Here on Sunday
Sunday on E! Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett is back and she's bring her new hubby and baby along for the ride. The second season of 'Kendra' will be premiering and her whole new life will be out for the world to see. Through this season another side of Wilkinson-Baskett will be shown as she embraces and struggles with her life as a wife/mother and losing her baby weight.
Yesterday E! aired the 'E! True Hollywood Story' of the former playmate and how she back the women we have come to love. I found it surprising to know that she used drugs to the point that it almost took her life. However, it was inspiring to know that she found her way out of that life and is now living a life that most people would love to have. At the end of the interview she spoke about writing her story and how the book is coming out towards the end of July.
'Kendra' airs on Sunday at 9pm central on E!

The OC Reunites
Tonight Andy will bring all the housewives together and their side will be told, with nothing but class. The cat fights, financial issues, the melt downs, and the break ups will all be topics discussed during the two part reunion airing on Bravo starting tonight.
One thing that can be said about the housewives is that the O.C. ladies are nothing but classy. So don't expect what you would see from Atlanta or New Jersey going on tonight. They may raise their voice or move forward in their chairs, but that's all the action that's happening tonight.
Will Lynn Curtin come to truths with her daughters drinking and their teenager ways? Will Tamara Barney and Gretchen Rossi resolve their issues? How is Jeanna Keough's life now that she is away from the cameras? And is this Vikki Gunvalson's last season? Only in Orange County can all this drama come out.

Welcome Baby Halpert!
It seems like it was just months ago that Jim Halpert and then Pam Beesly were at Nigeria Falls getting married. The year before that Jim was proposing to Pam in front of a gas station, and months before that he asked her out in the conference room. Now, in about three and a half hours TV's favorite couple will become Jim, Pam, and the baby.
After being on hiatus due to NBC showing the 2010 Olympics 'The Office' is back tonight with a one hour special of the Halpert delivery. What will happen? Usually I can answer that question, but this one I'm going to leave alone. I didn't research like I usually do, I want it all to be a surprise. So if Micheal and Dwight do something then I will be seeing it for the first time along with everyone else.
Lets just hope that Micheal doesn't try to name the kid after himself. Or more importantly Dwight doesn't teach Jim his delivery tips and wants to go mark the baby.

Not Much to Parenthood?
I am a sucker for shows on NBC, I grew up watching 'The Cosby Show' and many other comedies produced by them, so I had to watch the premiere of 'Parenthood' that aired tonight. In my defense the commercials made the show look really good and Lauren Graham is on the show. She will always be Lorelei Gilmore to me though.
As I watched the show, I have to say that the enthusiasm I once had faded as it became apparent that it wasn't really funny. The first episode left with much to be desired as far as the script was concerned, and it all seemed too predicable. Sorry Ron Howard, but you are going to have to move away from the Ron Cunningham and more towards modern times with this show.
For a show that is basically another version of ABC's 'Modern Family' and 'Brothers and Sisters' I would think that NBC would try to put some distance between the shows. Right now 'Parenthood' need to make some changes before it gets canceled.

Good-bye Bachelor
With ABC's show 'The Bachelor' coming to an end last night as he chose Vienna Giraldi over Tenley Mozahn, people everywhere are talking about what happened. This morning in my kitchen my roommate asked me if I saw what happened, when I told her I didn't watch the show she looked like at me like I was an alien. Am I the only person that doesn't watch the show?
To me 'The Bachelor' is just a reality show that puts a camera in someone's face and has them pick someone they like. They get to go on these amazing dates see and do things that most couples don't get to. Then after the finale and the reunion show reality comes in and the fantasy that once surrounded the couple becomes a breakup for the tabloids to photograph.
I don't mean to sound pessimistic but the number relationships that have succeeded from the show is small. Maybe I'm being to critical of the show and I should just see it as a modern day Disney fairytale of adults. I just like to think love comes in time and with the world watching every hand hold and kiss. Somethings you have to let time run it's course instead of you running it.
