Carrie's Our Love

There are more than some hearts out there that love Carrie Underwood. As one of the most successful winners of American Idol Underwood has made her career into something that future contestants could dream about. As news this week centers on the future of the Fox show, Underwood has shown how fame and progress are not going to her head.

Underwood started out as a girl out of Oklahoma. She started working on her music career at an early age; she did talent shows and performed at different venues. Her work earned her the opportunity to get a contract with Capitol Records, but her contract was canceled after a change in management. Underwood earned her chance at a music career again when she auditioned for American Idol in 2004.

As we all know, Underwood won the competition and in 2005 she released her first album Some Hearts. Then in 2007 she released her sophomore album Carnival Ride. She has won Billboard Music Awards, Grammy Award, and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Underwood is now working on her third album that is due out in November.

Even though she has all this going on Underwood also works to support teachers. She stated that the occupation is close to her heart since many members of her family are teachers. She works with the Teacher's count campaign and the "Behind Every Famous Person is a Fabulous Teacher."

With our love for teachers and good music we can't help but be carried away with Carrie Underwood.
