The Oscar award winning actress will be starring in another moving role this coming spring. It has been confirmed that Hudson will be portraying the of the most famous first ladies Winnie Mandela. Filming for the movie will star in May 30th in South Africa.The movie is based off the biography by Anne Marie du Preez Bezdrob entitled Winnie Mandela: A Life. The film is not going to hold back on any of the aspects of Mrs. Mandela's life. Meaning that it will show her jail time for supporting her husband, and how she was accused for kidnapping and assualt. This case came about in 1991 when an ex bodyguard said that Mandela was connected to the death of a 14-year-old boy.
Right now there is no word on who will be playing Nelson Mandela in the film.
