New Year= New Sunset

I just wanted to stop for a minute and thank everyone who has took time out of there day to read my blog. It means so much to me that you guys have supported me this year and helped me in expressing myself creatively.

As the new year approaches I'm working on ways to make Sunset Hills big and better than it was in 2009. Look to see what changes I have in store for you guys. Also I want you guys to email or write me your ideas and thoughts. I have gotten some emails already, (thanks to those who have already sent some in) and I enjoy reading what you have to say.

Thanks again for everything and making Sunset Hill what it is. Have a happy new year and here's to 2010.

The E! Babies

Seems as though the theme on E! right now is for someone on their reality shows to get knocked up and then film all the drama that happens until the big day comes. Early this year one of the former Heffner girlfriend go from single to wifey. On the opposite side of the world, two sisters ventured out to expand their company and find out what life is like in Florida.

With both of these reality stars going through their pregnancies E! has seemed to go into pregger mode to capitalize on them. They have the commercials, the count downs, the baby showers, and the guess how much the babies will weigh; what is a viewer to do? It seems as though we only have two options either get on board or block the channel all together.

For those of us that have chosen to stick it out get ready for the Kendra special that will be airing during mid December featuring the birth of her son. For Kardashian fans there is no word on if they will be showing her birth, but the baby shower will be aired some during the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashian' series.

Remembering Our Girlfriends

They were the African American version of 'Sex and the City'; with the same amount of class and their own flare the women of Girlfriends put the issues of minor women out there. As I watched the show I started to realize that it never had an ending. During the last writers strikes a couple of years ago some stations decided to just cancel shows, and my beloved 'Girlfriends' was one of them. How I miss Joan, Toni, Mya, Lynn, and even William.

So why am I writing about a show that has been canceled for a while now? I really can't explain my reasoning for it except for the fact that I think the show ended poorly. Maybe it's my beef with The CW, but that show deserved an ending that explained how everything ended. What happened with William, Monica, and their baby? What's next for Mya and Darnell? What's happened to Lynn's music career? Does Aaron come back from Iraq and the biggest question, does Joan finally get a man?

Unfortunately we will never know, the answers are lost. I just want to say thank you to Kelsey Grammar and Mara Brock Akil for bringing us the women that essentially became our girlfriends.

Beef: BET

I remember when BET was the channel to watch, when '106 and Park' was the afternoon show, and 'Comic View' was extremely funny. I was a fan of BET, but now with their stupid reality shows and loss of purpose there is no point in watching it. Now the channel that was meant to bring people together and honor a minority has turned into a station that brings out the worst of the worse. So here it is my rant against BET and what they have become.

One thing that gets me is that '106 and Park' is becoming another 'TRL.' Why are they shortening the videos? That's the whole point of the show- to watch the videos, not Free Style Fridays, or the dance teams, or even the other activity of the day that they come up with. The show was to promote music that would not get the time that other genres would. So why are they going in another direction?

Another part that bothers me is all the reality shows they are showing. It's like have either eating off someones ideas or giving shows to wanna be stars. I can watch 'Frankie & Neffe', 'Harlem Heights', 'Baldwin Hills', or 'College Hill'. They are all demeaning and senseless shows.

Where is BET going with their programs? I have no idea, but I'm not watching it anymore. If they don't see a reason to put on shows that matter I don't see a reason in watching it.

Keyshia's Having a Baby

The news is out about R&B singer/ reality star Keyshia Cole. Reports having been circulating about Cole being pregnant with her basketball boyfriend Daniel Gibson, and it looks like the rumors about true. A video posted on a blog through BET showed Cole and Gibson participating in a charity event with a pregnant belly.

It has been reported that Cole is to give birth next year in March. The sex of the baby is unknown to the public right now; especially since neither Cole or Gibson have not officially confirmed that she is pregnant. Also there are no reports that Gibson and Cole are going to be getting married at this time.

Congratulations to both Cole and Gibson. If you want to see the video of Gibson and Cole at the charity event visit http://ow.ly/166f71.

Keyes for Charity

In support of World AIDS Day and her charity Keep a Child Alive, singer Alicia Keyes performed to raise money in Manhattan on Tuesday. The concert was said to be an experience as Keyes performed new songs along with some of her singles from past albums. Rapper Jay-Z also joined Keyes onstage performing their song "Empire State of Mind (Part II)" as the finale of the show.

The concert was somewhat of a prelude to Keyes upcoming album "The Element of Freedom" which is due to be released December 15. Many of the songs that she performed were about overcoming situations dealing with relationships and breakups. It has been reported that Keyes performed a majority of the songs on her upcoming album.

Keyes Keep a Child Alive organization works to help children along with families who are dealing with HIV/AIDS get the treatment and help they need. Keep a Child Alive mostly deals with those who are affected in Africa and India. To learn more visit www.keepachildalive.org

Ugly things for Betty

Things are getting nasty for ABC's 'Ugly Betty' on Friday. Seems as though the ratings for the acclaimed show are down right now at its current time slot; which I think was a no brainier. The show airs on Friday nights along with 'Super Nanny' and '20/20'. Did ABC really think that arrangement was going to work?

The channel is going to be moving the show starting in January to Wednesday nights. It will air alongside their Comedy Wednesday shows 'Cougar Town' starring Courtney Cox and 'Modern Family'. Meaning that it will be taking the place of the show 'Eastwick', which has been canceled.

Where is Tree Hill?

Life in Tree Hill is still going along steadily for now, but something about these recent episodes has be questioning things. Even though it's been a while since the new season has started without Chad Micheal Murray and Hillary Burton I feel it's time to assess if the show is going to is sinking or swimming.

I don't know about you guys opinion but as a long time fan of the show I feel that 'One Tree Hill' has lost it's focus. It seems like everything that has happened after Lucas and Peyton left is completely different. The question is where are the characters going now? Even though the first jump seemed to work, this one seems to be a work in progress. Unless all the characters are meant to be trying to find themselves this season. Mouth and Millicent are headed towards breaking up, Brooke's focus is all over the place, and Haley and Nathan are not even acting like parents anymore.

I'm not sure what Mark Schwahn's next move is after the Christmas break when the show returns January 18th. I just hope he has an something before this is the last season of 'One Tree Hill.'

Thanking Beyonce

It's thanks giving and what more could we be thankful for besides good food, time with family, and Beyonce/Sasha Fierce serenading us? I guess to Mrs. Knowles-Carter we couldn't ask for more than her during prime time on ABC. The show entitled "Beyonce:I am... Yours" will feature the singer performing on her tour, her work load, and behind the scenes footage.

Knowles, who released her latest album last year, has been on tour all over to promote her album. The behind the scenes footage will show Knowles and her crew rehearsing, doing productions, and home videos of her as a child. So enjoy the rarely seen footage of one of the best tours right now; and having Beyonce over for Thanksgiving.

Way of The Office

Anyone who knows me knows for a fact that my favorite show is 'The Office.' I love it, I don't miss it, and I practically live by it. My love is so big that I wrote a post just to announce how happy I was about Pam and Jim getting married. Aside from all this love, I have to admit that I am curious as to where the next few episodes are going.

As happy as I am about Jim and Pam being married and their baby on the way, I hate to say that the office needs another couple. I am so happy about Andy and Erin starting their little thing together, but as a viewer I want it to be pushed more instead of going at a slow pace. What is going on with Angela and Dwight? Are they going to get back together because last years season finale looked like things might start up again. Also when are we going to see Micheal and Holly together again?

I can't wait to see what's going to happen in Scranton after the Thanksgiving break. It's time to shake things up and move forward in 'The Office.'

Who Will Own the Runway?

The place is Bryant Park, the people are three contestants wanting to start there own line, and the show is none other than 'Project Runway.' Tonight will have fans on the edge of their seats as the final episode of the sixth season airs with the last three contestants revealing their twelve piece lines. All that's left to find out is will it be Carol Hannah, Irina, or Althea.

On last weeks episode mentor Tim Gunn did his usual routine of traveling to the designers homes to check on how their collections. With five weeks till New York Fashion I have to say that I was impressed with Carol Hannah's collection because it was different from what she has shown this season. (I also hope she feels better) Irina's collection seemed similar to many of the outfits that she has made this season. As for Althea's collection I'm worried where it's going. Nonetheless, I'm not a fashion expert, that's why they have Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Michael Kors for.

In eight hours we will know who the winner of 'Project Runway' will be. Only one will own the runway.

Sparks and Cyrus Movie

I just saw the trailer for Nicholas Sparks book turned movie "The Last Song", and I am too excited to see what this movie. Mr. Sparks is my favorite author, I own and have read all of his books, and now I am working on reading The Last Song. Aside from the movie and book what really needs to be known is what is this book/movie all about?

Now don't worry people, I'm not going to spoil it for anyone that is looking to read the book. The story is about Ronnie who has an estranged relationship with her father that moved to North Carolina after her parents divorced. While visiting her father she meets Will, who is the complete opposite of her. As their relationship develops, Ronnie starts to bond with her father.

Know that we all know what's going on all we have to do is wait till April of 2010 to see it. I just hope that it's like the book. I loved "The Notebook" and "Night in Rodanthe" so hopefully this movie falls into that category and not the way of "A Night to Remember".

Right now there is no word on who will be playing Nelson Mandela in the film.

The Payne is Here

Tyler Perry's 'House of Payne' starts it's sixth season on TBS, which means that the comedy Wednesday is back. The family that many have come to love will be dishing out the laughter along with the drama this season as they continue to face life in Atlanta and with Curtis Payne.

For those that are not familiar with the show Tyler Perry's 'House of Payne' portrays a family from different generations dealing with problems from everyday life. As each person is faced with a problem the family comes together to support each other. Last season Calvin Payne went through many problems as a newlywed and infidelity. In the season finale he learned that his wife was pregnant and that he fathered a baby with one of his ex-girlfriends. Hopefully we will be able to see where they are going to go from here.

This season has a lot of questions to fill the gaps on. Where will this family go from here? With every episode the answer is unknown. However, with any Tyler Perry production the viewers will all come away stronger and empowered just from watching his work.

Dash to E! on Sunday

Sunday is the special two hour episode of the now Mrs. Odom's wedding. Everyone will now be able to know the ins and outs of the wedding preparations, how Bruce was told, and plenty of engagement details. But like any show that features the Kardashian family be ready for plenty of drama, drama, drama.

It has been a while since the family has been in the spot light and on air, so I'm curious to see what they have been up to lately. For instance what is going on with Kourtney and her boyfriend/ baby daddy Scott? Will they be walking down the isle soon? An what about Robert and his break up with the ex girlfriend? So many questions to be answered.

Until then we will have to deal with the two hour special. Also to make a correction to some of my last post this episode will not be the premiere to a new season of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.' Hopefully they will all be back every week soon.

ATL Reunion Time

Another season of Real Housewives has ended and that means that it's time for another reunion special with Andy Cohen. Viewers have seen another roller coaster season in Atlanta and there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. So Andy Cohen will be asking the ladies the questions and we will see what they have to say.

We have seen Sheree Whitfield finalize her divorce, argue with a party planner, and officially launch She by Sheree. Nene Leakes has dealt with writing a book, photo shoots, and meeting her supposed biological father. Kim Zolciak has had the most interesting season of all with her relationship with Big Papa, persuing a wig line, and recording "Tardy for the Party". Lisa Wu-Hartwell has launched her own clothing line, resolved her feelings about her brother's death, and is trying to have more children. Newcomer Kandi Burruss has introduced viewers into her life, the relationship with her mother, and suffered the death of her ex-fiance A.J.

With everything that has happened it leaves me to wonder if everyone will finally get along (i.e. Whitfield, Leakes, and Zolciak)? Will Zolciak move past Big Papa? How is Burruss doing? And is Hartwell pregnant? Knowing Cohen he will get to all these questions and more during part one and two of the reunion special.

Is 'This Is It' Worth it?

As the release of the movie This Is It approaches many people are speculating about what information will appear in the movie. The tour was scheduled to start in mid July of this year. Even though the film is based off of rehearsals that Jackson did in preparations for the tour, people are saying that they want to see what Jackson's life was like before he died.

On various websites people have wrote that they hope the film sheds some light onto Michael Jackson's drug usage and what was going on in his life before his death. Although the movie focuses solely on the This Is It tour preparations and Jackson's career, viewers say they want more.

Another problem with the film is Jackson's father Joe Jackson telling TMZ that many of the scenes the film featured a body double for Jackson. Sony released a statement saying the rumors were false, and that viewers will see what the video is all about.

Even though there is much speculation around the documentary, the overall reason for the film is to honor the King Of Pop. May he rest in peace.

Rihanna's New Album

In an effort to build anticipation for her album coming out Rihanna wants her fans to know the wait is almost over. Rihanna's new album The Wait is Ova is due to be released November 23. She has already started shooting her first video for the album in New York this week, however, little information is known about it.

For the fashionistas out there that keep up with the signers clothing Rihanna was wearing a military jacket with knee high boots in the scenes that she filmed. She was also wearing an eye patch over her right eye.

The singer has posted a time clock on her website that is set for something to happen ten hours from now. Many are saying that the timer represents when her single will be released since the album will be released soon. Hopefully tomorrow more information will be released as well about the album as far as what it's about and who else is featured on it.

Bethenny Frankel's New Adventure

One of the Real Housewives of New York is going out on her own. Housewife Bethenny Frankel is said to be leaving the show on Bravo to start her own show which will follow her life, business, and life as a newly engaged women. However, it seems that the show will be covering one more aspect, Frankel's pregnancy which she announced today on her twitter account.

Frankel became engaged to her boyfriend Jason Hoppy earlier this month on October 8th. Hoppy told People Magazine that when he proposed to her that he had her dog bring in the engagement ring. The couple met in 2008 and has been dating for 11 months. They have not announced a date for the wedding.

Frankel told People Magazine that she was not planning on announcing her pregnancy until she was further along, however it seems that bloggers and the media found out. She is two months along already and says that she is already experiencing a change in her appetite.

Three Weeks till O.C.

From the east coast to the west coast it's time for another season of the original housewives. As the franchise grows and new cities are added to the line up, we have to remember that all started in Orange County. The ladies will be back on the air in three weeks and it seems like a lot has happened since the last time we've seen them.

Season five of the show will feature all the women from last season plus a new housewives in the bunch, Alexis Bellino. I hope she is ready to deal with the cold shoulder of Vicki Gunvalson. The new season will show how things have changed for the housewives while the country deals with hard economic times.

So what have the girls been up to lately? Gretchen Rossi, who joined the ladies last season, seems to be dating Slade who has been on and off the show due to dating other housewives in the group. Tamara Barney is having financial problems of her own. Jenna Keough has suffered some problems with her real estate business. While housewife Lynn Curtin is dealing with the biggest problems of all of them. The O.C. will be bringing on the drama in season five.

T&D Are Coming Early

Good news for all those Tori and Dean fans, the new season of their show Home Sweet Hollywood is coming early next year. The family show, which usually premieres in the summer, will be starting this spring. The new season will feature the family traveling across America on a road trip according to Tori Spellings' twitter account.

Last season ended with Stella's first birthday party in which she was surrounded by family, with the excepting of Candy Spelling. Spelling's mother was said to attend the party, which made the party tense, but she was a no show. The family enjoyed the party and the show ended with the nanny Patsy leaving and the McDermont's going on vacation.

Right now there is little information on where or why the family is going to be traveling across the country. There is also no word on if viewers will be seeing more of The Guncles or the other friends that have appeared on the show. All I want to see is more of those cute kids.

Is Bilson the Mama?

It seems that The O.C.'s Rachel Bilson has a lot to do these days now that she is out of Newport. Since leaving the sunny California town Bilson has been working on expanding her acting career and will be going to CBS. As rumor has it Bilson might be the mama that fans of How I Met Your Mother have been looking for.

Bilson has already signed on along with Project Runway's Tim Gunn to star on the 100th episode of the show. She will be playing a love interest for the character of Ted Mosby played by Josh Radnor. Little information is known about Bilson's character at this point except that it's a recurring character. Gunn will be playing a tailor/fashion consultant for Barney played by Neil Patrick Harris. Co-Creator Craig Thomas said that Gunn's role is to be the person that Barney goes to when he has a serious suit emergency.

Only time will tell if Bilson is Mosby's babies mama, but I hope he finds her soon before he runs out of girls in New York.

SATC-2 Watch

There has been a lot of news about all the filming that is taking place on the set of Sex and the City II. We have seen pictures of the girls in '80s clothing and photos of the girls in various locations all over NYC. After all these pictures the real question is what is the new movie going to be about?

Everyone on the set is staying quite about the what the new movie is about and as I wrote about before the script is under lock and key. The only information that the public has about the movie are the pictures that have appeared on the Internet. However it seems that rumors have been circling around and I have the scoop. Don't read if you don't want to know. Someone is going to be walking down the isle... maybe Kim Cattrall's character Samantha Jones or maybe Stanford or Anthony. There is still no word on if Mr. Big and Carrie Bradshaw are going to be expecting.

We all know that there is going to be a flash back scene in the upcoming movie which is said to explain how the four women met and became friends. Unfortunately, none of these rumors have been confirmed. No matter what happens all I know is I can't wait for more Sex and the City II.

No More Klum

This week the always busy and really pregnant Heidi Klum found time some where in her busy schedule to file papers to change her name. She will be losing the Klum and taking on her husband Seal's last name Samuel. The couple has been married back in 2005 in Mexico and they have two sons together and the soon to be former Ms. Klum has a daughter from another marriage.

As for Klum's businesses that are in her maiden name. Her website is said to stay in tact as is and so will her jewelry line. It seems that the only thing that will be changing is what people will be calling her from her on out and her name on her endeavors such as the show Project Runway.

As for her host/actress/models' current pregnancy she is due any day now with her fourth child. The Los Angeles Times reported that she has checked into the hospital to prepare for the birth already. However nothing has been confirmed. There is little information known about the the gender of the child, so that means paparazzi will be swarming the hospital for any indication or photo of the child.

Housewives Ex-Fiance Killed

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Real Housewife of Atlanta Kandi Burruss who's ex-fiance Ashley Jewel was killed early this morning outside of a club. Jewel was involved in an altercation outside of the club which he worked at and was shot. He was rushed to the hospital and later died. Atlanta police have arrested the suspect involved

Jewel became somewhat of a cast member of the show through his relationship to the singer. Their engagement was a topic of many episodes even though little plans had been made for it. Jewel and Burruss's mother often clashed about his lifestyle and the fact that he had numerous children, which caused problems in the couples relationship. The couple ended their engagement early this year.

Burruss's publicist stated that she was "stunned and speechless" when she heard about his death. She later tweeted on twitter "I could never n a million years imagine this happening. please pray for AJ's children. that's who I'm the most concerned 4."

Our condolences go out to Jewel's family and friends during this time.

Spelling Hospitalized

Tori Spelling went to the hospital twice this week with complaints of abdominal pains. She went in earlier this week and after going through some test was released. The next day she went back into the hospital feeling worst than she did before. Doctors said that her pains are due to a stomach flu.

Through Spelling's twitter page she wrote that she and the family had been passing the flu around for weeks. Spelling and McDermont's son Liam was the first to catch a couple of weeks ago. It then went to their daughter Stella and was then passed on to Spelling.

Currently there is no news on how the Spelling or the reset of the family is doing. It seems that they are all just laying low and trying to get over their illness.

Good-Bye Miami

Sunday was the last episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and now all questions about the girls time in the city have been answered. Now the only questions that are left to be answered is the about how the relationship with Lamar Odom and the new Mrs. Odom came about, what is the gender of the baby Kourtney is having, and how are Kris Jenner handling all of this. Well there is no need to worry people because Keeping Up With the Kardashians is on its way.

November 8th the show will be back and airing a special one hour episode of Mr. and Mrs. Odom's big day and everything that lead up to the big day. Girls, that means we will get to see the proposal and wedding preparations. Along with the best part of all wedding dress shopping with the Vera Wang.

However we all know that it would not be a Kardashian episode with out family feuds. So prepare yourself for the arguments among just about everyone. No matter what happens with everyone in the family we all know that when the time comes they will all be together in the end.

Big Things for L.C.

Since she has left the Hollywood hills life reality star Lauren Conrad has been experiencing life in the fast lane. L.C. has been hard at work reinventing her clothing line and continuing to make her book LA Candy a big hit. Now Conrad's line is on the up and up and her book is in the works to be made into a movie.

Earlier this year Conrad's high-end clothing line, The Lauren Conrad Collection, which sold at Bloomingdale's was having big trouble in the market. Production of this line has stopped and there is currently no word of the line continuing any time soon. She has recently started a new line that is going to be sold at Kohl's all over the nation. Her line expresses a "casual California style" according to a recent press release.

As for Conrad's book L.A. Candy, which is on the New York best Sellers List for about 14 weeks, the rights for it to be made into a movie. Temple Hill Entertainment is going to be taking the book to the big screen while Conrad is executive producer of the film. There is no word on who will be starring in the film.

So while everyone is still acting up in The Hills, Conrad has moved on to the next and is doing big things.

The Hills Return- Unfortunately

I turn on the television today only to find out that everyone in the entertainment world is talking about MTV's The Hills. If things were not bad enough the show is continuing for another season as cameras follow these people that try very hard to have a life. Now that Lauren Conrad has left to do her own thing, her Laguna Beach costar Kristin Cavallari has taken her place to cause some drama in the cast lives.

What I still do not understand is why this show is so popular? This week entertainment news has been all over the return of the show and the addition of Cavallari and Audrina Patridge's ex-boyfriend Justin. These two additions have caused some news with people wondering what their relationship is. Their unknown relationship is also said to be causing problems with Cavallari and Patridge.

Even though I can not stand The Hills I have come to realize that there is no sign of them going away. So I will deal with them continuing there want to be celeb careers. However, I will never understand Spencer and Heidi Pratt.

Money in the Heights

So I wrote many months ago the new season of Lincoln Heights has started, and I am glued to the screen every Monday night. As the season continues after the earthquake that hit in the season finale, it seems that there are more problems then before. Aside from everything that the Sutton family is facing it all comes down to love and money.

On the season finale Charles found some hidden money inside the Sutton attic before it caught on fire. Since the season has started he has been hiding the money in his own house while he thinks of how he is going to use it.

In the Sutton household, they are facing money problems as they try to figure out how to feed 6 mouths. With the addition of Nate Ray to the family; who is Sutton's son from another women. The new addition and dealing with Nate Ray's mother has caused problems between Eddie and Jen, who's marriage is rocky.

Only in the heights can things go from better to worst.

Khloe Wedding Watch

With Ms. Kardashian's wedding on three days away, the media and paparazzi are all on pins and needles to get any information on the nuptials. I will admit that my curiosity about it is there too, at least the dress can someone show what the dress looks like? Curiosity aside everyone has to just deal with the information that we have.

One thing that needs to be updated from my last post on the Odom- Kardashian wedding is that it has been moved to this Sunday. The couple will be having a private wedding at the family friends house and the guest list includes only friends and family members. That means that the fake invitations that US Weekly and Star has are fake... sorry for those the tabs fooled. One way that proves their fake is Khloe's name is wrong.

Lamar Odom's bachelor party is being held tonight as a private gathering for his Lakers team members and Kardashian's family. Instead of a party at a club that he was said to have the guys will be having a dinner in West Hollywood. No matter where the party is at congrats to the happy couple and best wishes for thier future.

Life with Giuliana and Bill

In the past many reality show featuring have some and gone as the couples fight, argue, and soon find themselves going separate ways (i.e. The Gosselins). So viewer's faith has been lost in reality shows based on couples that last forever. Although, I believe the Style channels show Giuliana and Bill are going to be the exception.

The show portrays the couple's lives as they balance being married and living in two different cities. Giuliana works as a correspondent/host of E! in Los Angeles. While her hubby, who was the first winner of The Apprentice, works as an entrepreneur in Chicago. Even though they have not figured out how to end their commuting lifestyle they make the best of the time they have together.

The Rancic's show what it's like to be married with busy careers. Since airing the show in August, Style has decided to renew the show for another season. Hopefully in season two they will find a way to live in the same place.

Kardashian to say 'I Do'

It seems that a lot of things happened to the Kardashians while in Miami, while one sister reunited with her ex and became pregnant the other found her own future. News came out today that the youngest Kardashian sister (25) is engaged to LA Lakers Lamar Odom (29). The pair has been dating for less than a month and wants to get hitched as soon as possible.

Why are they running to the alter so fast? Well sources say it's because Khloe Kardashian wants to be married before Odom leaves for training. Sources say that the couple is already planning the ceremony.Little plans are known about the wedding and where it will take place.

The nuptials are said to air on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians as the possible season finale.

Will New Girls be Good?

The fall season of shows have already started and E! is promoting their new season during just about every commercial break. That means that the new season of 'The Girls Next Door' is coming back to show viewers what life is like inside the Playboy mansion. However, since the girls that we have all come to love have moved out and on with there lives can we come to love a new set of girls?

The season finally of 'Girls Next Door' was the news that Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt were moving out of the Playboy mansion to pursue their various interest and lives outside of Playboy. After a tearful good-bye the girls were gone and Wilkinson was off to plan her wedding while Marquardt searched for sexy beaches. Holly Madison, who has been a longtime girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, later moved out of the house and has been doing various things with her life since.

Since all the girls were gone, it seems like the show was pretty much over, but that's when the twins arrived. Hefner found himself some new ladies to keep him company, and they are going to be the ones keeping the 'Girls Next Door' tradition going. The sixth season will feature new ladies Crystal Harris and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon have moved in and are already living the high life.

So will this change make or break the show? The only one that can decide that is the viewers when the new season airs October 11th. Hopefully they will be as interesting the original girls.

VMA's- Should We Be Concerned?

I unfortunately watched the monstrosity that is the MTV music awards on Sunday, and there are no words to express how disappointing it was. The more I sit and watch MTV the more I feel that the channel is losing it's content and purpose. So I was not surprised that the music awards was as crazy as it was and in my opinion a complete flop.

Before I go any further I want to say that my feelings about the VMA's does not have anything to do with the performances. I think that they were good and the only thing that kept my interest during the show. Especially Janet Jackson's performance of 'Scream' that she did as a tribute to her late brother Micheal Jackson. I that that it was very touching and she did an awesome job. I also thought that the whole tribute section was great.

My problem lies with everything else that happened on the show, starting with Russell Brand hosting yet again and ending with all the drunk celebs that attended. First off I want to know what in the world made MTV executives decided to bring back Russell Brand as a host after he did such an awful job last time. The guy is completely disgusting and inappropriate, and it seems that none of that phased them.

The next offense was all the dumb and stupid celebrities in between. I will say that I do not in any way agree with what Kanye West did, but the guy has always been egotistical. He had no right to do what he did to Taylor Swift; and Beyonce was very gracious to rectify the situation. Another drunk celeb moment is when singer/host Lil Mama jumped on stage with Jay-Z and Alicia Keyes during their final performance. I have no idea what her purpose up there was and I think I never will.

After watching this and the BET Awards I have come to the conclusion that I should not be watching music award shows anymore. It's just not for me and I'm not impressed by there antics to get more ratings. From now on I'm going to save my brain cells.

Love for Heidi

She is one of the most wealthiest supermodels in the industry. She had a hand in developing one of the most successful reality shows on television and has made so big that only other can mimic it. An she is the beautiful Victoria's Secret model that knows now to work a runway; no one else can do fashion like Heidi Klum- and that's why we love her.

For someone that sort of fell into the fashion and modeling industry she has definitely made a name for herself and took things to another level. Klum came into the business when her friend signed her up for a modeling competition in Germany. She won 1st place and after that her modeling career took off. Since then Klum has become a Victoria's Secret Angel, an actress doing guest appearances in shows and movies, and a entrepreneur.

Klum is one of the major players that is responsible for the cult like followed Lifetime show Project Runway. Many people are unaware that the show did not do well it's first season on air and was almost on the cutting block because of ratings and reviews. Klum however kept pushing for the show to continue and now the show has done tremendously well even with it's move from Bravo to Lifetime. Aside from Runway she has continued to grow her empire with fragrances, a show in Germany, and a singing career.

It seems as though whatever Klum touches turns to gold. With her determination and entrepreneurial skills we can't help but love Heidi Klum.

Banks: All Natural

She may be gearing up to look for the newest Top Model tomorrow, but ex- model turned producer Tyra Banks is going all natural on her talk- show. Today the host aired what her real hair really looks like.

The recent Emmy winner has declared September 8th real hair day on the premiere episode of her talk show The Tyra Banks Show. To kick off the show the talk show host will reveal her natural hair to the world without any extensions, weave, or wigs. In clips that were posted today online they showed Banks asking the studio audience to come on stage and feel her hair and see that it was her real hair. Then Banks had her stylist do her hair on stage so that people could see what it was like when it was styled.

As some of you know it is a common practice for celebrities to wear hair along with or on top of their natural hair. Some of the most common celebs to do so are Beyonce, Paris Hilton, and Eva Longoria Parker.

The talk show host says that she will be doing more shows with her actual hair this season. However, she will be wearing wigs or extensions from time to time.

The Diva is Back

During my long and unplanned hiatus from Sunset Hills I had a lot of time to think about what I am doing here and where I want this blog to go. I can't tell you how many times I have logged on just to log out or just stared at the computer screen. At first I thought it was due to writers block and I just could not put words together, but then I realized what was really going on.

For those of you that are not aware it takes a lot of time and effort to put together this blog and write every week. To come up with a story that is worth reading, write and edit, then post it in hopes that someone out there will take the time to read what you have put time into. That's not including the email messages to update people, finding pictures, and the constant pictures.

I have to say that if it was not for the people that continued to push me forward, and a message from a stranger I would have stopped completely. So here I am, back in the game and I want to promise my readers that I will write and update as much as I possibly can each week. So expect more entertainment news, more People We Love, and more of me continuing to go after my passion of writing.

Thank You all those who have supported me and my dreams.

Love for M. Obama

Mrs. Michelle Obama will tell you herself that she is not just the First Lady, she is a mom, wife, and also a daughter and sister. With all the titles that Mrs. Obama holds, one of our favorites is that she is a fashion icon. Out of all the things that we love about Mrs. Michelle Obama, it has to be her determination to make the world a better place.

From the beginning she has been working on making things better for all people as her husband ran for the presidency. As she came more and more into the political spotlight she was scrutinized for her speeches and outfits. Recently she has been talked about for wearing shorts as she walked off of Air force One. Despite the talk and controversy, she has continued to move forward and make a difference in peoples live.

She has worked closely to help with gay issues, child education, and helping military families. Aside from all of her efforts she continues to put her children and husband first, while still remaining fashionable in pretty much all of her attire. Who ever has the opportunity to dress the First Lady needs to be prepared to become an overnight hit because she has the ability to make clothes a must-have.

No matter what happens in the next three years, First Lady Obama will always be someone we have so much love for.

Kourtney's Pregnant

Seems like Kourtney Kardashian's new life in Miami has brought on all sort of new surprises. The reality star told E! today that she is excepting a baby. She is not telling too much about her pregnancy or who the father is. When asked if she is back with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick from Keeping Up With the Kardashians are back together, she stated that people would have to watch her and sister Khloe's new show to see.

The show that she is referring to is Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, which premieres this Sunday on E!. Since the promo commercials aired for the show, the oldest Kardashian has been rumored to be bisexual because of her kiss with a girl in a night club. The girl that she kissed was a bisexual friend of the Kardashian sisters. When asked about the kiss Kourtney Kardahian stated that she is "definitely into men."

Even though some people are surprised that Kardashian is pregnant, I have to admit that I'm not. When I read the story I just had a go figure moment and was not surprised about it, maybe it's because it was a Kardashian and I mean have you seen the show?

From the story that was posted by E! Kardashian seems excited and happy about her first child. So best wishes to her and her baby.

Bridget's Reality Future

From the Playboy Mansion to sexy beaches, former playmate Bridget Marquardt of The Girls Next Door keeps a busy schedule, and according to resent rumors it's about to get a lot busier. The reality star is currently in talks with E! to have her own spin-off show that centers around her life after the Playboy Manson.

Since the show is still in talks little information is out about the show; I'm thinking if it does happen it probably won't air till next year. The only things that are know about the show is that it will feature Marquardt and her boyfriend Nick Carpenter. The couple recently moved into a new home together since Marquardt no longer lives at the mansion and she is not filming her Travel Channel show Bridget's Sexiest Beaches.

The spin-off will have the same criteria as her playmate buddy Kendra Wilkinson's show on E! did. However, the show most likely won't have a wedding to top it off like Wilkinson's show did since Marqardt and Carpenter want to take things slow. They stated that they do not have plans at this time to settle down. Since this is their first house together they said that they are focus on getting their home together and moving in.

Even though I had some doubts about former Girls Next Door doing their own reality shows, I have to admit that Wilkinson's show proved me wrong. So I'm going to give a vote of confidence into Marquardt's show and wish the couple the very best.

Carrie's Our Love

There are more than some hearts out there that love Carrie Underwood. As one of the most successful winners of American Idol Underwood has made her career into something that future contestants could dream about. As news this week centers on the future of the Fox show, Underwood has shown how fame and progress are not going to her head.

Underwood started out as a girl out of Oklahoma. She started working on her music career at an early age; she did talent shows and performed at different venues. Her work earned her the opportunity to get a contract with Capitol Records, but her contract was canceled after a change in management. Underwood earned her chance at a music career again when she auditioned for American Idol in 2004.

As we all know, Underwood won the competition and in 2005 she released her first album Some Hearts. Then in 2007 she released her sophomore album Carnival Ride. She has won Billboard Music Awards, Grammy Award, and was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Underwood is now working on her third album that is due out in November.

Even though she has all this going on Underwood also works to support teachers. She stated that the occupation is close to her heart since many members of her family are teachers. She works with the Teacher's count campaign and the "Behind Every Famous Person is a Fabulous Teacher."

With our love for teachers and good music we can't help but be carried away with Carrie Underwood.

Hova Business

People are already talking and preparing for the release of Jay-Z new album The Blueprint 3. The album cover was released last week portraying a red, white, and blue themed background. Little information about the album is known with the exception of the songs "D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)" and "Run This Town."

The last news being that the man from Detroit, Michigan that was accused of sending death threats to both Jay-Z and Beyonce was charged today. From 2006 till now Leon Desmond Barrett has been sending death threat letters to the couple and football player Jerome Bettis. In some of the letters he wrote that the celebs will be the first that he would kill. Barrett denied the charges and the allegations; he remains in custody.

Aside from that Jay-Z along with his friends Kanye West and Rihanna will all be performing on Jay Leno's premiere episode of his new show. The Jay Leno Show which will be premiering on NBC September 14 will feature the trio performing a song off the Blueprint 3 album "Run This Town." The trio is reportedly going to start filming the music video sometime soon.

Definition of a Comeback

I have noticed that some people, especially in the media, don't know the real meaning of the word comeback. According to the American Heritage dictionary a comeback is 'a return to a formally enjoyed state of prosperity.' So if that's the definition, why do people not know how to use the word? My thoughts are this, when it comes to someones career any one can do a "do over" or start it again. Although people can do that this does not mean they have made a comeback because they might not be back to where they were before.

Recently singer Whitney Houston is started promoting her new album I Look to You which is coming out later this month. The press is saying that this album is her comeback and that she is going to be back to the way she was in the 1990s. Even though she has a new album out and she has left Bobby Brown, will Houston be the same singer that she use to be?

Let me say first that I’m not trying to talk down Houston or her upcoming album; it could be a comeback album and restart her career. I’m just using her as an example. I personally like her music and what she did in the 90’s when she was doing Waiting to Exhale and The Preacher's Wife.

My point is that people need to use the word comeback in the context of what the word means. If someone is getting back to work then they are getting back to work, that does not mean that they are going to start where they left off; look at Britney Spears. So best wishes to Houston and her new album, I wish her the very best.

We Love Tyler

The love that we have for Tyler Perry expands past the fact that he developed the character Madea, is a great playwright, and entrepreneur. Ten years ago very little people knew of Perry, with the exception of few in Atlanta. Now Perry is one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry dealing with films, plays, and television.

Perry stated in a past interview that he stated writing after watching an episode of Oprah. During the episode she said that writing was cathartic; after looking up the word 'cathartic' Perry started writing. The first play that Perry did was not an instant hit, after all his efforts to make the play work he became homeless. Perry's mother asked him to stop pursing the theatrical path, however, he was determined to give it one more shot.

His final efforts at getting his plays noticed paid off and years later made Perry into who he is today. He is mostly known for being a well-known playwright and for creating the combative character Mabel 'Madea' Simmons. He also has two hit shows, Tyler Perry's House of Payne and Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, with a third show being discussed. Perry is also the owner of the first African American studio in the country, Tyler Perry's Studios.

Outside of the messages that Perry provides in his plays, his achievements are a message too. Tyler Perry is someone we love because he has proven that with determination dreams can become a reality.
